Jack Lance, a member of the puzzlehunting community, passed away on May 1st at the age of 25. He authored 8 PI hunts and many games, including OCTOGAME. This unfortunate news was given to me by Cenarius this morning. If you'd like to light a virtual candle in memorial, the link is here. Out of respect for him and his family, I will refrain from religiously coding any sort of sending off, as I don't personally know what would be appropriate, but I would like to make my front page, for the time being, a memorial dedicated to him. When I have the time, I will move it to another page on my site. His loss will be deeply felt, and he will be missed terribly. I wish his family and his friends a gentle mourning process, and hope that in grievance, they find opportunities to smile.
